Hello Day Dreamers!
It’s that time of year. Where the music seems to fill the air, when everyone looks just a little more stressed, and the time to eat all the food you’ll regret eating come New Years resolution time. Yes, it’s Christmas time at the Disney resort.
Okay, so it’s not quite Christmas yet, but as far as Disneyland is concerned, the holidays are upon us. Let’s take a look at how the different lands are getting into the festive spirit.
Over in Critter Country, the rustic wreaths and garland are strewn about everywhere.
The Hungry Bear restaurant and all throughout the Hundred Acre Woods, they are getting ready for Christmas time.
Inside the shops, the merchandise is starting to slowly trickle out.
Making our way over to New Orleans Square, there is still plenty of Nightmare Before Christmas around, but the Mardi Gras Christmas style is definitely shining through.
Walking through the square are some wonderful decorations to get you in the mood.
Walking past the beautiful Golden Horseshoe restaurant, the garland trims the ledges.
Traveling past Small World, which will soon be in full holiday mode come November 15th, there is just a small hint of Christmas.
Mickey’s Toontown is beautifully adorned with lights and colorful garland all throughout the land.
I love the cartoonishly contrasting colors all around and really makes me feel like I have been transformed into the character’s own holiday world!
Minnie’s house is ready for a visit from Santa…
Mickey’s house is also tastefully decorated by the mouse himself!
Donald might always be a little grumpy, but that doesn’t stop him from getting in a cheerfully decorated mood.
But not to be outdone, my favorite house has to be Goofy’s house. This is how I imagine my house to be decorated very soon. 🙂
After all those beautiful decorations throughout the lands, I make my down Main Street U.S.A. to take it all in.
I can’t wait to return in a couple of days cause I hear the tree is up. Those pictures will be coming soon I assure you.
I will be returning soon with pics from California Adventure and of course, the great Disney Christmas tree. Until then I will leave you with another great view of the castle. See you all again soon and keep on dreamin’!!
